Angela Hawekotte speaks Pasadena Rotary – Pasadena Weekendr

Angela Hawekotte, current president of the Rotary Club of Pasadena and co-chair of the Done in a Day committee, will address the Rotary club's weekly lunch on Wednesday.

Hawekotte will speak on “Angela in Wonderland: My Time as a Rotary Scholar in the UK”. She will share her experience as a Rotary Ambassador of Goodwill in the UK, particularly during her visit to the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and later as a speechwriter and researcher in the House of Commons in London.

Hawekotte received a BA in Political Science from Mount Saint Mary’s University and a law degree from Loyola Law School, both in Los Angeles. After studying law, she was a Rotary International Graduate Fellow and earned a Diploma in International Law and Relations from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, UK, specializing in the European Economic Community.

Hawekotte is both a lawyer and a chartered accountant practicing estate planning, corporate and tax law in Pasadena. She is the current Vice President of the Pasadena Senior Center Board.

The Pasadena Rotary Club's weekly meetings are currently held in person at the University Club of Pasadena and also live on Zoom. Lunch starts at 12 noon. and the session starts at 12.30 p.m.
