- Massachusetts AG Maura Healey achieved a
Settled with the fuel delivery company Diesel Direct, LLC and
related persons (collectively "Diesel Direct") too
Resolve claims that it delivered non-compliant diesel fuel
Products to government agencies, government agencies overpriced for fuel
Delivery and did not meet the requirements for the variety of contracts in
Violation of the Massachusetts False Claims Act. - As
Whistleblowers claimed Diesel Direct supplied petroleum diesel
Fuel to government agencies, with these agencies being charged the higher fees
apply to biodiesel. The complaint also alleged that
Diesel Direct overloaded government agencies with improper charging of a
Federal fuel excise tax and by using an incorrect higher reference value
Price to determine the price per gallon. Besides, the complaint is
claimed that Diesel Direct had two percent of its
