NYC owners get one other likelihood in a foreclosed property tax lawsuit

New York City property owners at risk of foreclosure due to tax arrears have received a partial respite from the U.S. District Court of Appeals for potential damages.

The appellate court on Wednesday referred a case back to the District Court of the Southern District Court and asked the judges to overturn part of the lower court's judgment because it was partially wrong in dismissing certain claims by plaintiffs.
