For the past two years Eric Powers was General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Trulieve, leading the legal team and supporting Trulieve's national expansion. As CLO, Powers will be strategically focused on relocating Trulieve for national expansion. He has more than 25 years of extensive legal experience in his internal and private practice in corporate and tax law. Prior to joining Trulieve, Powers was Vice President and Corporate Secretary for a>$ 1 billion Revenue listed insurance company.

For more than 20 years as a human resources manager Ronda Sheffield brings extensive experience in leading organizational transformations. Most recently, Sheffield served as ModWash's chief human resources officer in senior HR positions for top companies including Lowes Home Improvement, Sprint Wireless, Starbucks Coffee Company and Walmart Stores, where she held the HR functions for both the corporate and retail departments directed. She is particularly qualified and experienced in the areas of organizational development, diversity and inclusion, coaching and leadership development, human resources, labor law, talent management, succession planning and employee relationships. Sheffield is a member of the USA CHRO Executive Committee and SHRM Atlanta.

Zack Kobrin was a partner at Akerman LLP where he was a leader in the company's nationally recognized cannabis practice group. Prior to Akerman, Zack was General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of a multi-state cannabis company and is recognized as an expert on cannabis and hemp law matters. In his previous role, Kobrin advised a number of companies on corporate, business development and start-up issues, as well as legal, regulatory and compliance issues in the cannabis and hemp industries The United States and emerging international markets. Aaron Lopez joins Trulieve as first director of government affairs. Prior to joining Trulieve, Lopez was the founder of Political Capital LLC, which has worked with leading clients in a variety of industries to provide insight and a voice into the legislative and political processes at international, federal and state levels. He has served as head of government in a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, hospitality, oil and gas, and financial services. For the past five years, Lopez has worked with government agencies and lawmakers Virginia and West Virginia on the creation of medical cannabis laws.
