The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) April 8 announced that the town of Cathlamet joined the Business Licensing Service (BLS) as a local partner for excise tax purposes. The town is home to dozens of businesses that are part of the state system that links hundreds of registrations like liquor licensing and minor work permits. In 2022, the BLS will support business licensing in more than 200 communities, providing time savings and a streamlined solution to Washington private enterprises working in most cities.
