Washington DOR publishes gross sales and excise tax data on {qualifications} for self-service cost plans

The Washington Department of Revenue (DOR) released information on July 1 about qualifying self-service payment plans for sales and consumption tax purposes. The self-service payment plan is a way to schedule paying tax bills in three, six, nine, or 12 months. To qualify, taxpayers must: 1) receive a balance due notice; 2) the total tax amount due is more than $ 100 and less than $ 100,000; 3) have a bank account that they can use to schedule direct debit payments; 4) have no active tax powers or liens, active payment plans in the past 12 months, tax evasion, or abuse of reseller permission …
