Wyoming Governor Indicators Legislation Authorizing 24-Hour, Off-Premises Wine Permits, Amending Microbrewery Provisions

The Wyoming Governor April 6 signed a law concerning alcoholic beverage permits, for excise tax purposes. The law includes measures: 1] authorizing local licensing authorities to issue 24-hour, off-premises wine permits to winery permit holders to sell their manufactured wine at meetings, conventions, private parties, and the like, for promotional purposes; 2] limiting the number of such permits issued to a single winery permit holder to 12 per calendar year; 3] authorizing local incensing authorities to impose an additional fee for the permit from $10 and up to $50 per 24-hour period; and 4] allowing microbrewery and winery permit holders…
