Germany will soon issue guidance on taxation of cryptocurrency assets, the German Ministry of Finance’s director general of international taxation, Martin Kreienbaum, said Thursday.
The administrative guidance is in the “final stages” and will detail the treatment of crypto assets under existing tax law, Kreienbaum said at an event hosted by the American Bar Association Tax Section.
