Law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of London partner Dominic Stuttaford as the new global head of tax.
Before his appointment, Stuttaford was the firm’s head of tax in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, where he reportedly focused on the tax aspects of corporate finance and other finance transactions and structures, with a particular interest in the insurance, resources and technology sector.
In addition, his experience reportedly includes the mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies, group restructurings, as well as other finance structures. He also has an active litigation practice in the UK and internationally.
Stuttaford is said to be recommended by Chambers Global, Chambers UK, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500 United Kingdom and Who’s Who Legal Corporate Tax.
The firm’s Paris partner Antoine Colonna d’Istria will reportedly take over from Stuttaford as the head of tax in EMEA, while London partner Matthew Hodkin will be taking on the role of London team leader.
