The California Court of Appeals on March 11 upheld the court's ruling that amendments made by the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors unduly expanded the scope of a voter-approved excise tax on commercial marijuana cultivation. The taxpayer owned property in the county and was filing an injunction against enforcing the changes when she received a tax bill for years that she did not grow cannabis.
